Appendix 2 - CFS Setup and Overview

You will need to add a "Durell CFS" program to each PC where the user will be involved with the Client Facing Services. To do so...

The very first time you will then probably get the following error message...

This "error" is actually just indicating that the Durell CFS program has successfully created User Access Rights in your copy of Durell that by default will prevent all users from accessing it. So to proceed...

Once all User Access Rights have been assigned in your copy of Durell you should repeat the installation process for the Durell CFS tool on the PC of each person who'll be involved with Client Facing Services, at the end of which they should each be able to login immediately, as you already have given them the rights to do so. On the "Setup" screen you should see that a demonstration client has been created and assigned to a standard profile, so that you can test it, as described below. If not, follow the instructions in Appendix 3 regarding how to create a standard profile and assign SANDS D to it.

OVERVIEW and INITIAL TEST

CFS enables clients of Durell's customers to login (via their own Internet browser) and review their data on that customer's Durell admin system with regard to...

Once your CFS has been configured by Durell's staff you should be able to test it immediately via one of the following supported Internet browsers...

...by going to Name.cfsNetwork.co.uk (where "Name" will be the one allocated by Durell to your company) and logging in as the test client SANDS D (which has a space before the "D") with password Hello (which is case sensitive). Note that this client record will also be in your copy of Durell in the "Clients, Individual" address set, where you can change the documents, policies or other details and see how they change on the web-linked Client Facing Services - and vice versa. Please do not delete SANDS D from your Durell admin system, or re-name him, as it is essential our support staff have access to a demonstration client with pre-agreed credentials. When you "go live" your own customers will be able to log in similarly, initially using their Durell Search Name and their Reference No (displayed in Durell just above the Search Name) as their password, which they can then reset.

ACCESSING CFS and QUOTES from your WEBSITE

If you have a website you can optionally add a simple hyper-link so your customers can also login from it. To do so you should...

If you've also ordered web-based quotes (e.g. Insurecom Motor quotes) and wish to run them from your website add more buttons (e.g. for "Motor quote") or just the words with an associated hyper-link to each as follows...

Once done your customers should be able to log in either directly by going to Name.cfsNetwork.co.uk, or via your website's "Client login" button. Moreover if you've ordered quotes then these too should be available via the above hyperlinks from your website (typically for new prospects), as well as via the client logins (typically for existing customers and renewals).
